ANGELICA HARRIS
Angelica Harris was born April 23rd in New York City from a diverse European Family. She attended William Cullen Bryant High School where her love for writing was ignited by her schoolteachers before she attended Hunter College where she majored in Liberal Arts, History and Theatre. As a young woman Harris interned at the Roundabout Theatre Off Broadway in New York City. She acted at her Community theatre and lent her Cosmetology talents doing hair and makeup and creating designs for many of the local shows. Harris also worked on the Sci-Fi Soap Dark Shadows. Angelica has always had a passion for Medieval History, especially the Arthurian Period. She is the author of titles The Quest for Excalibur and Excalibur and the Holy Grail. Harris had her first book revised in 2005 with her editor Andrea Howe. In 2004 Angelica partnered with Corey Blake, literary development director with LA Film Lab Entertainment and Chairman of the Dream; Writers of the Round Table Inc., and Writers of the Round Table Press for the development of her third book, Excalibur Reclaims Her King. (Blake will adapt the screenplay in 2009 for production in 2010) Harris and Blake were invited to speak about their work at the Virginia Reading Conference in 2006.

In addition to her Novels, Angelica was recently commissioned by the Titanic Museum in Florida and Nova Scotia, and Southampton, England to further develop a short story/historical piece for display in the museums. Angelica’s first two book were accepted in the Royal Library in North Kensington and Chelsea London, England for their historic accuracy in King Arthur Folklore. Harris is the creator of her own inspiring coaching program called Success for Authors, a unique series, designed to help aspiring and established writers bring their love for words to excellence on the page. Ms. Harris enjoys Fencing and belongs to the Society for Creative Anachronism, and The Tourette Syndrome Association. She teaches 5th and 6th Grade religion in the CCD Program and, is a Lector and a Eucharistic Minister in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic School in Glendale Queens, NY. Though she was raised Catholic, Angelica has thoroughly studied the Wicca Faith to bring out the true essence of the religion to her readers. In her third book, Harris has invented a Pagan language using the Druid language she studied from Celtic mythology to create the linguistics of the speech. She is most proud of her studies and promises that this book will be an adventure to her readers both historically and magically.


COREY BLAKE
Corey’s writing and visionary work has been published in Writer Magazine, Script Magazine, and on StartUp Nation and has been featured on Fox News, NBC5, Sacramento and Co, Adelante (WGN Chicago), and in print such as Young Money, Hoy, La Raza, Hispanic Executive Quarterly, MovieMaker Magazine, Dance Magazine and Hollywood Screenwriter Magazine. He is the co-author of EDGE! A Leadership Story (finalist, National Best Books 2008 Awards) with Bea Fields and Eva Silva Travers, From the Barrio to the Board Room with Robert Renteria, Excalibur Reclaims Her King with Angelica Harris and The Family Business with Dr. Kay Vogt. He is also Chairman of the Dream of Writers of the Round Table Inc.

Prior to writing, Corey worked in Hollywood as a commercial and voice-over actor starring in campaigns for McDonalds, Mountain Dew, Pepsi, Wrigley’s, Hasbro, Miller, Mitsubishi and the infamous Yard Fitness, where Corey plays basketball naked. Corey also appeared on shows such as The Shield, Fastlane, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Diagnosis Murder, Joan of Arcadia, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch before he produced The Boy Scout and directed and produced Gretchen Brettschneider Skirts Thirty and Unsuitable, all for Elevation 9000 Films.

An avid keynote speaker, Corey has appeared at the Society of Southwestern Authors 2008 Wrangling with Writing Conference, the 93rd Annual Missouri Writers’ Guild Conference, the Virginia Reading Association (with Angelica Harris), Screenwriting Expo 4 (LA Convention Center), Cinespace (Hollywood), Avalon (Hollywood), The Ivar (Hollywood—The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles), Spring into Romance Writing Festival (San Diego), and the Midwest Literary Festival (Chicago).

Corey is proudly married to Dr. Dawn Blake, a Psychologist. They make their home in the suburbs of Chicago and Corey travels frequently back to Los Angeles.
